About Us – Bringing Natural Light into Your Home Since 2002
Suntile UK Ltd is a proud family-run business, founded in 2002, inspired by a very real problem — our four young sons hated using our dark, windowless bathroom.
Planning permission made installing a traditional window impossible, so we set out to find an alternative. Our solution was to install a light collector and natural daylight duct light system, channeling bright natural loft light from the roof directly into our bathroom. However, back then, almost every sun tube light or light tube system on the market was overcomplicated — full of multiple fiddly parts, requiring specialist cutting tools, and taking hours to fit. This not only made the installation process frustrating but also costly for the customer.
As experienced roofing specialists, we knew there had to be a better way. That mission became the heart of Suntile UK, to create an efficient, discreet, and stylish natural light system that is quick and easy to install.
Today, 21 years later, we continue to improve our designs year after year. Our innovative Sunpipe, sun tunnel, or solar tube products are crafted to integrate seamlessly into your home. The clear roof tile light or loft skylight tile matches the shape of your existing roof tile, meaning no bulky domes or awkward bubbles.
