Suntile is a revolutionary clear roof tile that brings natural sunlight into a building.  During daylight hours there is no need for an artificial light source so the Suntile saves money and energy.  The Suntile is particularly effective in areas where a normal window can not be used such as stairwells, passageways, internal bathrooms etc.  These areas usually need artificial light throughout the day as well as at night.

Suntile’s unique ducting system provides a flexible and simple solution to creating an uninterrupted transfer of light from the roof to nearly anywhere in the building.  Due to the magnification effect of the ducting, more intense light is emitted from the Suntile than the level of light outside.  It can produce adequate light even on gloomy overcast days.

A large range of different profiles are available for many types of roof including flat roofs.  We are creating new profiles all the time, soon we will have a range of profiles that will allow any roof to have a Suntile fitted.  The unique design allows an uninterrupted roof line that is virtually unseen from outside, this allows planning authorities to consider their use even on listed buildings, the only situation where planning authorities need to be consulted.

The installation is easy and therefore fast.  It can take as little as half an hour.  There’s no need to fit lead flashing or to cut joists or anything other than felt, plasterboard and insulation wool.  It simply replaces an existing roof tile.  A competent ‘DIYer’ won’t have any trouble fitting a Suntile.
