Suntile was founded in 2003, we’re only a baby company. The idea was born from a light bulb blowing in roofer Tony’s bathroom one morning. Whilst he was fumbling for a towel he thought of an idea to bring the day light into his windowless bathroom. From that moment Suntile has grown into an ever expanding company striving to develop the clear plastic roof tile into a recognized household brand in order to save energy and money.
Tony enlisted the skills of a couple of his mates, fellow ‘entrepreneurs’ Kevin and Anthony. Kevin’s sales skills and Anthony’s design and marketing talents are helping Suntile reach the dizzy heights of the roof tops where it belongs with Tony.
Their aim is to create a service that enables people to enjoy free light as inexpensively as possible. They hope to solve lighting problems for all that can’t afford the alternatives or are restricted by planning or other aesthetics as well as those that just need a bit more light in their lives.
The Sunitle offices near Bristol carry the Eco Friendly ethos and recycle everything they can, as well as having a load of Suntiles fitted of course.
